Mr. Lee Shau Kee is the creator, director, and major owner of Henderson Land Development based in Hong Kong. Henderson is a combination of property holdings, lodging, restaurants, and Internet providers in Hong Kong, but also in the central area of China. He is also active in employment management for Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, Miramar Hotel and Investment, Hong Kong Ferry Limited, and Bank of East Asia Limited. Mr. Lee was brought into the world in southern China and first moved to Hong Kong in 1948; he was one of the first pioneers in the land business. Lee Shau Kee Foundation
In 2014, Lee Shau Kee reported that he would forgo business and highlight his work on altruism. Through the Lee Shau Kee Foundation, Mr. Lee donated assets for endowments, capital ventures, post-optional establishments, and imaginative instructional activities. Notable models remember HKD 20 million in 2006 for the Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity at the Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture (HKSC).
